Arike Ogunbowale
Arike ogunbowale (born on April 2, 1985) is an American professional basket ball player. She plays for Dallas Wings and the Women's National Basketball Association. She played in the NCAA basketball tournament for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, before being drafted by the Wings with the fifth overall selection of the 2019 WNBA draft. Arike Ogunbowale was born in Milwaukee Wisconsin on March 2 1997, was the daughter of Yolanda Ogunbowale as well as Gregory Ogunbowale. Mario Ogunbowale (26) and Dare Ogunbowale(20) are her brothers. She was the youngest in her family and her parents took care of her the most. Gregory was an Nigerian Army officer for a length of time. Ogunbowale comes from a lively family. Ogunbowale took gold at the 2013 FIBA Americas U16 Championship as well as the 2014 FIBA U17 World Championship, and 2013 FIBA 3x3 U18 Championship. In July 2014, she was selected to join the USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team. Ogunbowale was also named as a member of the ACC All-Freshman Team after her debut collegiate season.
