Katherine Heigl has revealed that she was brought up in a white bubble and how this experience impacted how she raised adopted, multiracial children. The "Firefly Lane" as well as "Grey's Anatomy" actress revealed in an interview recently that -- when it came to the color of her skin, she didn't care what she wore however, after speaking to her older sister, who was adoptive from South Korea, she realized how different society treated each of them. I wanted to know Meg whether, while out with her parents, she got a particular treatment and when out alone, she received a different one. Meg said, 'Oh, sure, I've seen everything and I've been there all the time! Heigl said to Parents, "That made me realise how foolish I was." Her anger grew at the time, and chose to channel her anger into support her two adopted daughters. Heigl is the mother of a 4-year-old son and a 13-year-old husband, Josh Kelley. Their daughter was adopted by them Nancy Leigh, 12, from South Korea in 2009 and Adalaide eight, who is Black, in 2012.
