Jenna Fischer's best-known role was in the role of Pam Beesly from the popular television series The Office. In recognition of her work, she was awarded the Emmy award for Outstanding Actress in a Supporting Role and received 2 SAG Awards.
She was raised primarily in St. Louis Missouri. Jenna spent her childhood watching her mother, Anne who was a church performer. It instilled in her a passion for theater.
Fischer was a stage actress who was trained in her home country. The Off-Broadway production Reasons for Being Happy was written and directed Neil LaBute, with Josh Hamilton, Leslie Bibb and Fred Weller. She then starred in Steve Martin's Meteor Shower - an absurdist production starring Greg Germann and Josh Stamberg - for the Old Globe Theatre's debut world premiere.
The Office actress Angela Kinsey Fischer, who is her real-life best friend as well as a castmate, started Office Ladies in October 2019 on Earwolf. The show became extremely popular, and was ranked in the Top Ten of the world every week. It had more than 200 million downloaded during its first two years. Office Ladies took home the iHeart Radio Podcast of the Awards in January 2021.
She has written two books: The Actor's Life A Survival Guide where she outlines her experience in Hollywood acting as a professional, and Office BFF's, Tales of The Office From Two Great Friends that Were There an account of the most memorable relationship they shared and their time watching The Office.
